Life and Movement

Now that we understand how to get a sound out of our synth, it's time to start looking at the next section; Modulation. Modulation is the movement and life component of your sound. You can kind of look at it as additional hands to move your knobs. Modulation gives you the ability to either choose pre-made patterns, or draw your own patterns, and have those patterns change/modulate pretty much ANY knob you want. So if you want your filter cutoff to move up and down as you play the sound without using your hands, modulation is the way you can make this a reality.
